Meet Melissa Ottenweller
We are pleased to introduce our newest provider, Melissa Ottenweller, MSN, FNP-C, in our mission to provide exceptional hormone management for the Fort Wayne community. Melissa is currently being trained through the Hormonal Health Institute and collaborates with Dr. Bauer to treat both men and women. Melissa is a board-certified nurse practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis (2006) and her Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University in 2012.
At Bloom Hormone Health, Melissa specializes in hormone replacement therapy, thyroid management, and weight management. She will listen to and accompany each patient on their journey and help create an individualized plan that emphasizes lifestyle modifications and medical treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Melissa believes that quality healthcare both addresses lifestyle and utilizes medication when we need it to feel our best.
A wife and mom of three active kids, Melissa understands the challenge of balancing your own well-being while caring for the people you love with energy. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching group fitness classes, watching her kids play sports, enjoying the lake, and listening to live music.
